Emergency paediatric first aid

The Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid is ideal for anyone working in the childcare sector wishing to become an emergency paediatric first aider.

Employers and managers should check that the syllabus meets the needs of their first aid risk assessment. For more in-depth training, it is advisable to choose the 12-hour Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid course, regulated by Qualifications Wales.

Bespoke option

RT Safety Training can also offer the one-day Paediatric Basic Life Support course. This training covers a similar syllabus as the Emergency Paediatric First Aid course but is not subject to formal assessment and may be suitable for those not seeking external accreditation.
