Food Safety for supervisors
This Level 3 qualification is designed for employees with a supervisory role within the catering, hospitality, manufacturing or retail industry.
Qualification holders will gain a broad knowledge of food safety and food hygiene, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
Topics covered include;
- Legislation and enforcement
- Principles of good food hygiene practice
- Food safety hazard
- Monitoring HACCP
- The role of the supervisor in training
The course can be delivered over 2 or 3 days, depending on experience and customer requirements. However, we recommended that learners have completed a Level 2 food safety qualification or have significant experience of a food environment.
